Each release of TIDE will have a particular range of firmware version that it supports for each hardware platform. This is to ensure that the compiled application can run correctly on the device.
There is two parts of the message that is most important, "platform requires" and "target runs". "Platform requires" means what TIDE is expecting and "target runs" means what the Tibbo device is currently loaded with.
So, for example, in the image above, the "platform requires" version is LOWER than what "target runs" shows, the best option is to update the TIDE application to the latest version.
Make sure you are up to date with the latest platform files: https://github.com/tibbotech/platforms. Redownload if necessary.
Then point TIDE to the folder where the platforms are on your computer. In TIDE, go to File-->TIDE Preferences-->Platform Locations. Here is where the path to the platform files should be.
For example, I installed my files in C:\Users\CalVert\Documents\Firmware\platforms-master\Tibbo-Platforms
